The Steel Knife was first added in update 0.16: Wicked Woodsman (01/09/2016). After 0.6: Countless Colors (16/11/2017), the Bush Knife became a Skin which needed to be claimed or purchased from the Coyns Shop. This Skin was removed as of 0.15.1 Ylands Yncoming (Ylands 1.0 Release Candidate) and Coyns were refunded. In update 1.9: Ocean Odysseys it was made craftable again using the new sea life materials but this was subsequently changed in update 1.10: Ymproving Ylands (27/07/2022) which saw the new asset Horn replace Sea Slug Slime in the recipe. In Update 2.0:Aenture Awaits it was renamed to Steel Knife.
