Desert Melons, like some other Food, can be split using Any Knife into a Desert Melon Half or Desert Melon Piece. The Desert Melon Half can also be further cut into Desert Melon Pieces. Because it produces more items, it is more efficient to cut up a Desert Melon before using it in a recipe that requires Any Fruit.
Crafting
Each Desert Melon produces 4x Desert Melon Piece. Each Desert Melon Half produces 2x Desert Melon Piece.
