The Dyeing Stand is used for dyeing almost any item in the game. The player must have sufficient Pigments or a Creator Cube in their inventory to use the Dyeing Stand. Unlike the Paintgun which needs to be aimed, the Dyeing Stand can only be used on items in the player's inventory.
All items in the players inventory that can be painted are shown. Wothin the list, the items in Inventory Containers are shown before the inventory container itself, so the player doesn't have to remove the item before painting it. If the player wants to paint a smaller stack of items, the player can split the stack in the inventory window by pressing Ctrl and dragging, then return to the Dyeing Stand window.
The next step is selecting a color and viewing the pigment consumption. Each item in the stack needs 5-6 pigments. The pigment type is determined by the color selection. The item can have up to 3 colors to modify (shown along the top). Only the changed colors will use up pigment.
View the item preview and confirm by pressing the button labeled "Dye". To cancel, select a different item, or close the Dyeing Stand.
