- Energy is the mechanism which can power items which are linked to an Energy Generator (items that produce energy and do not need to be fueled). These energy links/streams/beams are depicted in game by a green glowing beam connecting the nodes.
- Linking the items is done with the Energy Linker. When holding the Energy Linker, Energy sources will also show their current usage and total capacity.
- Examples of Energy sources are the Wind Turbine and Ylandium Generator, among others. These sources can be used to power:
Note: The Charging Station can be used to charge Ylandium Power Cells, Small Ylandium Engines or the Mining Drill
- For connecting Energy streams over longer distances, Energy Nodes or Energy Splitters can be used. Do keep in mind that the node or splitter itself also uses 1 Energy. Energy Gates and Switches can be used to make more complex energy links. The maximum length for an uninterrupted Energy stream between nodes is 65 blocks.
