You can find mainly Gold Ore as Deposits in Taiga Ylands, as well as in caves of Polar Ylands. It is a valuable material and used to create Gold Ingots. You can also find it in small quantites in Pyramids as loot. Gold requires a minimum of a Iron Pick or Steel Hand Drill to be mined.
